The current version of the Lexus GX entered the global market in 2010. Since then, the manufacturer has made several minor upgrades. Despite this, the debut of the new generation Lexus GX should take place no earlier than 2024. In the meantime, the Japanese company has once again carried out a small update of the SUV.
As part of this modernization, the interior of the Lexus GX was slightly redesigned. A 10.3-inch information display has appeared inside the SUV. Already in the basic version, a multimedia complex is installed that supports mobile technology. Due to the increase in the size of the touchscreen monitor, the engineers had to rethink the layout of the center console: they moved the blower below.
Also, Lexus has released the GX in a new version of the Black Line, which was recently received by the "younger" models. This version offers customers a black grille and 18-inch rims. Also along with this performance are decorative elements decorating niches with fog lights and redesigned bumpers. The seats of the SUV are also finished in black material, and the interior has been replenished with inserts in dark ash.
But after the modernization, the technical characteristics of the Lexus GX have not changed. In the US, where the SUV was updated, the Japanese model is available with a 4.6-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine. Its maximum useful output reaches 301 hp. (in Russia, the engine power is reduced to 296 hp) with a torque of 446 N * m. It is reported that the updated Lexus GX will go on sale in the coming months. Prices for the SUV have not yet been announced.
