The premium brand Lexus is preparing to launch the next generation of its flagship model, the LX SUV. Previously, a photo of the Japanese novelty, which is being tested, has already been published on the Web. In these pictures, the body of the car is covered with a dense protective fabric, which makes it impossible to recognize exactly what innovations await the SUV.

However, on the eve of one of the Japanese motorists managed to spot a novelty that is not protected by camouflage (photo: instagram.com/sa.speed). The shot was made due to the fact that an auto transporter passing by the driver was carrying a new white Lexus LX. Unfortunately, the picture shows only part of the body of the model, and the image quality itself is far from ideal. However, even from this photo, experts were able to draw conclusions as to what the new generation of the Japanese flagship SUV will turn out to be.

So, at the stern of the car there will be new taillights connected in a monoblock with the help of an LED strip. A number of changes will also occur to the bumper design. New stampings will appear on the side parts. Previously, all modifications in which the Japanese model debuted on the market were disclosed on the Web. LX 570, 600 and 750h versions are reported to be available for the SUV.
The approximate level of equipment of the Lexus LX is also known. The main change that should take place in the cabin is the appearance of a huge 17-inch multimedia touchscreen. The system itself has already made its debut on the recently updated Lexus NX crossover.
The official show of the updated flagship model is scheduled by the manufacturer for September this year. The car, which is based on the new generation Toyota Land Cruiser 300, is on sale in December.
