The past week was marked by the appearance on the Internet of a number of "spy" pictures, which depicted the British Range Rover crossover, made in the new generation. Domestic experts, based on the photo data, decided to suggest how the flagship cross would look like, and created a number of renders demonstrating the appearance of the future model.

Renders of the new Range Rover

At the moment, a restyled version of the British SUV, demonstrated in 2017, is being sold on the market. This means that the model's life cycle is coming to an end, and therefore the manufacturer is preparing a new generation of Range Rover for the release in good time.

On the renders, the designers suggested the appearance of a new radiator grill, which is visible through camouflage on test prototypes of the car (photo: kolesa.ru). It differs from the current version by the changed pattern of the filling structure. But the dimensions of the grille, apparently, will remain the same. The same applies to the shape of the head optics, for which a new graphic content will be proposed.

The current version of the model

In general, the proportions of the body of the new version of Range Rover will remain practically unchanged, although the styling of the crossover will approach the Velar model. One of the signs of such a conclusion is the retractable door handles, which were also seen on the updated car. Aft, as before, will be placed vertical lights and a split trunk lid.

The manufacturer used the MLA architecture as a platform for creating a new generation of Range Rover. Initially, this "cart" was supposed to form the basis of the next generation Jaguar XJ. However, in the future, it was decided to abandon this model, and the manufacturer sent it to create the future Range Rover. Apparently, the new generation of the British cross will receive a lot of hybrid engine variations under the hood, which will allow you to count on a fuel consumption of 2, 8 liters per “hundred”. The official display of the novelty is expected at the end of this year or early next year.
