Range Rover Evoque L was officially presented by Land Rover in China today. At the same time, the manufacturer announced the price for this interesting, but exclusive only for the Celestial Empire model. This model will be exclusive to the Chinese market only, as local buyers deeply value vehicles with increased rear seat space. In addition to the "grown" body, this cross is almost completely consistent with the global version of the Range Rover Evoque, available in other countries.
To increase the crossover space in the rear row of seats, the manufacturer had to extend the doors and side windows. Thanks to this, the car began to look slimmer and more harmonious. With regard to the overall dimensions of the car, the length, width and height of the model are as follows - 4531/1904/1650 mm. The wheelbase is 2841 mm. All this indicates that both the total body length and the distance between the axles have been increased by the manufacturer by 160 mm.
Speaking of the design of the crossover, if you look at it from the front, the branded grille with an internal honeycomb pattern catches your eye. It seems that its size has been slightly increased. The model name, located on the bonnet, also appears to have been given a bolder font. The air intakes along the edges of the bumper look quite impressive and sporty. Not only do they give Range Rover Evoque an aggressive look, they also serve a very important function in cooling the crossover's braking system.
The extended version of the crossover uses the same powertrain as the standard Range Rover Evoque. This means that a 2.0-liter turbo engine with 249 hp is installed under the hood of the car. and 365 N * m of torque. It interfaces with a 48-volt starter generator. The generated power is transmitted to the wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission.
