Nothing has passed since the launch of the new Mercedes-AMG GT with 800 hp from Brabus and Fostla. In addition, an automobile exhibition is underway in Chengdu, where, in addition to the Chinese auto giants, other car manufacturers have also gathered.

But many of them are already preparing for the new motor show, which will soon take place in Munich. The German automaker Mercedes-Benz did the same. He has released official images of his new AMG GT 63 SE Performance sports car. This model will be the first hybrid in the Mercedes family to carry the AMG emblem. The exterior of the car is almost the same as its predecessor. It has the same recognizable appearance with a characteristic radiator grill, where the massive emblem of the manufacturer is located. Among other changes, the cover is clearly visible, under which the charging port is hidden. This suggests that the photo is not just a hybrid, but a plug-in PHEV. The rest of the car is exactly the same as the regular GT63. In the interior, everything remains the same as before, and there is little hinting at the hybrid component of the model.

The most interesting changes are hidden inside the car. Hidden under the hood is a powerful four-liter V8 petrol engine with two turbines and an electric motor that produces a total of 843 horsepower. That's 43 hp. more than that of the similar GT 63 presented by Brabus and Fostla, which is not a hybrid. The maximum torque of the novelty is 1400 N * m. From zero to one hundred kilometers, the model, like the Brabus GT 63, accelerates in 2.9 seconds. Its maximum speed is 316 kilometers per hour.

The power reserve on electric traction alone will be 12 kilometers before the gasoline unit is connected. In addition, several ride modes are available: Comfort, Sport, Advanced Sport and Wet. Thus, the "nightmare" for the BMW M5 CS F90 (as the media dubbed the new AMG GT from Brabus) has been replenished with another powerful specimen.
