New Mazda CX-5
We are talking about a restyled version of the Mazda CX-5 crossover. As announced earlier, in a couple of years, the car should completely change the generation and radically transform. Until that time, the developers decided to carry out a planned update. One of the first restyling touched the model sold in the Chinese car market.
The day before, photos appeared on the Web that show the exterior of the future car of the 2022 model year. According to experts, the CX-5 SUV sold in Russia may be updated in a similar style in the near future. Based on the publication made on the Web, a full-fledged restyling with a crossover will not happen. All planned updates are likely to affect the appearance of the car. The innovations consist in the installation of a different bumper, a more compact radiator grille and an improved filling of the head optics. The back will change less. Here, experts expect an update to the bumper shape as well as the design of the lights.

So far, nothing has been reported about changes that could affect the interior of the car, as well as adjustments to the technical capabilities of the SUV. As for the coming generational change, it is already known that Mazda CX-5 will move to a new "cart". This will lead to an adjustment of the vehicle's power units. Its competitors are expected to be the BMW X3, Audi Q5 and other representatives of the premium segment.
