Mazda has published a list of changes that will affect the "troika" and the CX-30 crossover. While these innovations will affect the models that are presented in the Australian market. The main change is the emergence of a hybrid setup.

Mazda 3

The Mazda 3 hatchback and CX-30 crossover are now powered by a 2.0-liter engine, which is paired with a 24-volt starter-generator. The latter improves acceleration dynamics and reduces fuel consumption. The total output is reported to be 155 hp. with a maximum torque of 200 N * m, which is transmitted through a 6-band automatic transmission to the front wheels.

At the same time, Mazda revised the list of onboard equipment. So, both models are equipped with external electric mirrors, which can change the angle of inclination and remember the selected settings. The servo-drive of the driver's seat has a similar functionality. He is able to change positions in ten directions. Together with both Japanese models, a proprietary security complex became available, including panoramic cameras, driver tracking and parking sensors, speed control and collision avoidance systems.

Mazda CX-30

The Mazda 3 can be ordered with new 18-inch wheels painted black and seats with red accents. Crossover CX-30 received burgundy leather upholstery. This model is equipped by default with the aforementioned 2-liter naturally aspirated engine. Optionally, a 2.5-liter 189-horsepower engine, developing up to 252 N * m, will also be offered with the crossover. In the second case, the motor is combined with four-wheel drive.
