Renault Kangoo car, popularly called "heel", and previously had "twin" cars. All of them were produced by the Japanese brand Nissan. The first generation of the twin van was called the Kibistar, and the second, the NV250. Now the manufacturer has presented the third generation of the copy of the "heel", named Townstar.

It is known that the new product is based on the CMF-C architecture. In general, the model is very close to the classic Renault Kangoo. The car received the main differences in the front end of the body, where specialists from Nissan installed new bumpers, horizontal head optics, as well as a flatter hood cover. The developers did not offer any other innovations.

According to Nissan representatives, the new Townstar will be offered in both cargo and passenger versions. In the case of the first version, the car will be able to carry about 800 kg of cargo. In this case, the total capacity of the cargo compartment will be 3, 9 cubic meters. Also, this version is capable of towing a trailer, the mass of which, together with the transported items, will not exceed 1500 kg.

As for the passenger version, it is known that the market will offer a five-seat version of the Nissan Townstar, the back row of which will be represented by a solid sofa. Up to 775 liters of cargo can be placed in the trunk of this version of the "heel". As for the power plants, for its new product, Nissan offered exclusively a 1, 3-liter turbo engine, the output of which reaches 130 hp.

In addition, the market will offer an electric version of the "heel", equipped with a 122-horsepower electric motor. Thanks to the 44 kWh battery, the car can cover a distance of 285 km without recharging. The start of sales of new items is scheduled for the current year.
