Nissan unveiled the IMk electric compact van concept a few months ago. And now a prototype of this model has been caught on public roads. It is reported that the presentation of the Japanese novelty will take place no earlier than the first half of 2022.

The published photos show a model from Nissan, covered with a thick protective film. They hide absolutely all the body parts of the Japanese novelty (photo: car-moby.jp). Only narrow front and rear optics are visible through the film, which is probably complemented by LEDs by default. At the same time, the general form hints that the serial compact MPV will be designed in the style of the IMk prototype.
In particular, the body of the novelty is characterized by a square configuration with a high roof and a compact front end with heavily heaped struts. From the prototype, the Japanese compact MPV can borrow the same bumper with a wide central air intake and narrow side ones. The fodder of the novelty is almost sheer. There is a long spoiler on it. And the rear optics are extended along the support struts.
It is reported that Mitsubishi engineers will take part in the development of this new item. Complete with a compact van, they will offer a 20 kW * h battery, which will provide a power reserve of 300 kilometers. The cost of the Japanese model, according to preliminary information, will be about 1.33 million rubles.
Nissan ariya
Nissan is expected to supply the new electric vehicle to Asian markets. However, it cannot be ruled out that the car will arrive later in Russia. This is supported by the fact that Nissan intends to open sales in our country of its first Ariya electric crossover in the coming months.
