The sports division of Nissan Nismo is known primarily as a manufacturer of modified sports cars, including the "Fast and the Furious" stars - Skyline and 350Z (sold in Japan as the Fairlady Z). However, a little later, it began to produce cars, all the changes of which were reduced only to the appearance that differed from the usual versions of the models. This was the Nissan Juke Nismo, which was a purely marketing product, and the company is clearly not going to stop.

Last week, Nissan revealed a teaser for the new urban hatchback, the Note Aura, which will go on sale in Japan this year. And now the official images of the car have been published, which has become a hybrid, and externally refers to Formula E cars. So, it received a bumper with a splitter and black aluminum rims made of aluminum. The side mirrors are installed in red housings. In addition, the scarlet skirts on the thresholds are clearly visible. The model is also distinguished by the bumper with diffuser, which gives the compact hatch a sporty appearance. Changes continue to the interior, including bucket seats finished in a combination of fabric and synthetic leather. The seats also feature an embroidered Nismo logo and red and gray contrast stitching.

There are no changes in technique. The car is powered by the same 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine that powers the two electric motors. They, in turn, transmit torque to the hatchback wheels. The new Note features three drive mode settings, including Nismo, which offers improved throttle response and acceleration.

Nissan says the Note Aura Nismo's unique exterior also improves downforce, resulting in improved stability at high speeds. The car is equipped with a unique suspension that provides better handling. The Japanese automaker has yet to announce any other details regarding the Note Aura Nismo, including how much it will cost.
