The newest Mitsubishi sold in the US has achieved the highest safety rating from the Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The Outlander crossover, which was fully redesigned for the 2022 model year this year, has been awarded a Top Safety Pick + rating, which applies exclusively to gasoline vehicles.
It is noteworthy that the rating applies only to those Outlander models that were released after June 2021. They were made significant adjustments to security systems. Using the advanced navigation system, the Mitsubishi Outlander is also able to monitor its own speed, which will greatly help the driver on long trips. The driver can completely remove his feet from the pedals and relax a little while driving.

Among the huge list of safety systems, there are several other useful features, including: frontal collision avoidance (FCM), predictive forward collision warning (PFCW), active blind spot assist (ABSA), lane departure warning (LDW) and Lane Departure Avoidance (LDP).
