The Australian market is very important for the Japanese automaker Mitsubishi. That is why special versions of the brand's cars are updated and produced here with enviable regularity.
Most recently, we told you that sales of the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross PHEV rechargeable hybrid crossover will be one of the first to start in this market (in August of this year). And today we have received information that two new limited editions have been added to the line of this model: XLS and XLS Plus. Let's consider each of them in more detail.
The XLS package is available at a price of 34,640 dollars (2.5 million rubles). It will be located two steps above the base crossover modification. The car in this version is provided exclusively with an automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. In contrast to the basic variation, the seats here are finished with a combination of micro-suede and genuine leather upholstery. Heated front seats and dual-zone climate control are also available. A distinctive feature is the Mitsubishi Power Sound system with eight speakers. In addition, there are all-round cameras. It is worth noting the presence of adaptive cruise control with a start / stop function and front parking sensors. Visual differences in this version include a black front bumper with an insert in body color, as well as a dark glossy radiator grille.
Another special version of XLS Plus is available at a price of $ 37,940 (2.8 million rubles) for the front-wheel drive modification and from $ 40,440 (2.9 million rubles) for the Super All-Wheel Control system. This variation adds full LED headlights, a double-glazed sunroof and genuine leather seat trim. By the way, in this version, the leather multifunction steering wheel is also heated. Additionally, there are standard navigation, a head-up display and an ultrasonic noise reduction system in the cabin during acceleration.
Both versions will be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine. It is capable of producing 150 hp. and 250 N * m of torque. A continuously variable variator acts as a transmission.
