After about 2 years from the moment Mitsubishi announced the termination of development of the Pajero frame SUV, the Japanese manufacturer has finally begun to implement this plan. Data about the latest version of this model was accidentally leaked to the Web. This happened due to the fault of the Australian Mitsubishi dealers, who published a secret bulletin revealing information about the new Pajero Final Edition.
The Japanese model will hit local car dealerships in the next few weeks. After 39 years since the release of the first copy of the SUV, Mitsubishi will release 800 7-seater all-wheel drive Pajero Final Edition. The car will be presented in three versions. In each of the available versions, a 3.2-liter turbodiesel engine will be installed under the hood of the SUV, developing up to 192 hp. power and 441 N * m tractive moment. Complete with the Japanese model, they will offer a 5-speed automatic transmission and permanent all-wheel drive.
Structurally, the new Pajero Final Edition is no different from its previous modifications. This model will receive several additional accessories, a protective plastic trunk cover and a tinted hood. Also in the cabin and on the body there will be nameplates with the name of the special series. Complete with the Japanese novelty, they will offer 17- and 18-inch wheels, a multimedia complex with support for mobile technology and a touchscreen. Premium acoustics will be available with two top-end versions.
By default, Pajero is equipped with a locking rear differential. The vehicle can be towed up to three tons. The Japanese novelty has retained the same off-road characteristics, including the ability to overcome a ford with a depth of 700 mm.
