In the showrooms of the KIA manufacturer in Russia, you can now purchase a new version of the most popular foreign car in the country. The 2022 Rio sedan and Rio X cross-hatch models are already available at dealerships, according to the company's press release.
The novelty did not receive any fundamental differences in comparison with the current version of the car. The main innovations include the installation of an updated brand logo, as well as the appearance of an additional Luxe AV package, which is available for both sedan and cross-hatch cars. It is reported that the basis for this modification was the Luxe version. For the AV version, the developer assumes the installation of a 1.6-liter engine, the output of which is 123 horsepower. As a transmission, an "automatic" or a manual transmission with 6 speeds is offered.
As for the main features of the equipment proposed for the Luxe AV package, they are manifested in the installation of an 8-inch multimedia display, a rear-view camera with dynamic markings and a light sensor. Among other innovations provided for the KIA Rio 2022 model year, it is possible to note the appearance of beige metallic in the list of body colors.
If we talk about the cost of new models, it is known that the basic version of the KIA Rio sedan is estimated at 929.9 thousand rubles, and the most expensive version can be purchased for 1.29 million. For the KIA Rio X cross-hatch, the initial configuration is available for 1.05 million, and the top-end version is offered for 1.35 million.
