The updated Japanese crossover Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross can now be purchased at dealerships in Russia. It is reported that the price of the new model depends on the type of vehicle equipment and ranges from 2.413 to 2.753 million rubles.
The technical characteristics of the new Eclipse Cross are determined by several powerplant options. These include a 2-liter naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 150 hp, as well as a 1.5-liter turbocharged internal combustion engine (ICE) of the same developed power (it will be used for a crossover with permanent all-wheel drive). The only type of transmission available is the CVT. Thanks to the possibility of filling the SUV with AI-92 gasoline, it will compare favorably with most competitors.
In addition, the update of the cross has led to a significant improvement in its ride quality. So, the manufacturer reconfigured the chassis and the Super-All Wheel Control all-wheel drive system. Also, during the restyling, the car received visual changes. In particular, it was equipped with a new design head optics. Now the narrowed stripes on top represent the running lights, but the headlights themselves are located below, in special compartments of the front bumper. At the stern, the vertical lights are complemented by a horizontal section, and the rear window is solid.
In general, the car has "grown" in length by 140 mm, and the volume of its trunk is now 331 liters (an increase in volume is 15%). The interior of the updated Eclipse Cross received a new multimedia system with an 8-inch display, and a built-in electric sunroof appeared on the roof. Also, the SUV relies on a fairly wide functionality, represented by cruise control, a rain sensor, a monitoring system for the situation in the "blind" zones and other services.
