The Niro crossover from the popular Korean manufacturer KIA is preparing for a planned update. On the roads, this novelty has already been repeatedly noticed during testing, although its body is covered with protective material, which does not allow making out what changes its developer has prepared for the SUV.

On the eve of the photo spies, during the races, they managed to meet the KIA e-Niro model, which will differ from the standard SUV by installing an electric motor under the hood (photo: motor1.com). According to preliminary information, the updated version of the SUV, which will be equipped with hybrid and all-electric motors, may appear on the market by the end of this year.
The body of the electric cross is also protected by camouflage, but it is possible to guess what changes the manufacturer will offer for the car. Especially if you remember the details of the exterior of the conceptual prototype KIA HabaNiro, which was demonstrated by the developer back in 2019 at the auto show in New York. At the same time, the design of the concept was rather unusual and impetuous, but the production version of the cross would be much more restrained and accurate.
Apparently, the novelty will be made in a sporty style. This will be achieved thanks to shorter overhangs and a larger wheelbase. The radiator grill will receive a "tiger nose" design, and in the electric version of the model it will be closed with a plug.
There is no detailed information on what parameters the electrified e-Niro will have on the Web yet. Naturally, in comparison with the current version, the new version will receive a more efficient installation and a capacious battery, which will increase the vehicle's maximum mileage. Accurate information about all changes will appear only during the official show of the SUV.
