According to preliminary information, Kia will remove the Rio from the US market after 2022. But so far the manufacturer has not officially confirmed this news. However, if Kia takes this step, then in the US, the Korean concern's cheapest model will be the Forte sedan, which is priced at $ 900 more than the Rio.

Recall that the sedan last experienced restyling in 2020. As part of the previous modernization, the manufacturer corrected the appearance of the car by changing the optics and bumpers. In Russia, the Rio is equipped with a 100-horsepower naturally aspirated 1.4-liter engine and a 1.6-liter unit with 123 hp. Prices for the Korean sedan now start at 909.9 thousand rubles.
