Kia has announced the imminent debut of Seltos in a new version of Project X. It is already known that this version is, in fact, another modification of the X-Line series. Seltos in this performance debuted in early February 2021 at the auto show, which was held in New Delhi.

The crossover in the new modification is distinguished by the appearance of an all-road body kit and a special matte body color. The bumpers of the Korean model, which debuted in February, were complemented by orange accents. In addition, chrome details have acquired a black tint, and special trims have been placed on the sills.

Officially, Kia has not yet revealed any details about its new product. It is possible that the manufacturer will make some changes to the crossover, and it will be different from the one that debuted in February. Also, Kia does not name the exact date of the debut of this version of the Seltos.
According to rumors, the Korean crossover in this performance will be sold in the Indian market. But, perhaps, later Seltos Project X will come to Russia. Recall that in India, the Korean model is equipped with a naturally aspirated engine, which develops up to 115 hp. power. A similar output is given by the turbodiesel unit, which is also equipped with Seltos. In addition to these motors, a supercharged engine with a volume of 1.4 liters is available to the crossover. Its maximum output reaches 140 hp. Depending on the type of the selected unit, customers are offered a 6-speed manual transmission, "mechanics" without a clutch, a continuously variable variator and a 7-band "robot". All-wheel drive versions of the Kia Seltos are not officially shipped to India.
