Jaguar has redesigned the F-Type, which is available on the American market as a coupe and convertible. The British model no longer officially comes with 4- and 6-cylinder engines. Their place was taken by a single supercharged unit, which is available in two modifications: 444 and 575 hp.
This engine produces 580 N * m of maximum torque already at 2500 rpm. As standard, this motor is combined with an active differential, supplemented by electronic control. As before, the British model is available in rear- and all-wheel drive versions. The F-Type Coupe with a less powerful engine accelerates to 100 km / h in 4.4 seconds. And the maximum speed of the car is limited to 285 km / h. The R coupe, which is equipped with a 575-horsepower engine, gains the first 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds.
In addition to introducing a new engine, Jaguar has made changes to the F-Type onboard equipment list. However, the top version of the coupe remained the same. Now, along with the initial modifications, 20-inch wheels and 380mm brakes are offered. The coupe and convertible are equipped with an exhaust control system: the driver himself can adjust the sound level of the pipes while driving. In the front compartment, electrically adjustable seats are installed.
The more expensive version introduces new high-gloss black trims and auto-dimming and auto-folding exterior mirrors. This modification uses new rims of the same radius. The front seats are complemented by an electric drive that regulates their position in 12 directions.
For a Jaguar F-Type with such equipment in the United States they ask for at least 69.9 thousand dollars (5.12 million rubles). The advent of all-wheel drive is estimated at an additional 10 thousand dollars (733 thousand rubles). The most expensive and powerful version of the British coupe costs 103.2 thousand dollars (7.57 million rubles).
