The Russian division of Jaguar Land Rover has announced the start of accepting orders for the purchase of the updated electric crossover I-Pace. It is reported that the new product will be available in dealerships only from next spring. However, already now everyone can make a preliminary application for the purchase of this model.
According to Jaguar representatives, the updated electric car will be sold in the Russian car market in three modifications - S, SE, and HSE. Each of the trim levels has already received its own price tag. So, the base Jaguar I-Pace S can be purchased for 6, 347 million, dealers offer a more expensive variation of SE for 6, 665 million, and the most "pumped-up" car will be available for 7, 234 million rubles.
If we talk about changes in the appearance of the electric crossover, then after the update, absolutely nothing has changed in the design of the car body. It's the same powerful competitor to the BMW X4. The main innovation offered by the British automaker concerns the electric part of the SUV. Now a new charger is available on board the electric car, the power of which is 11 kW. Due to the ability to connect to a three-phase outlet, it will be possible to replenish the battery charge, the capacity of which is 90 kW * h, in just 8, 6 hours.
Some changes have taken place in the interior of the Jaguar I-Pace. Now the car is equipped with a new multimedia system Pivi Pro, which has the ability to work on the 4G network, support for eSIM technologies, different display graphics and a built-in navigator with which you can determine the location of the nearest charging stations, as well as the power that they have. The size of the monitor itself has not changed and is, as before, 10 inches.
As for the technical capabilities of the restyled Jaguar cross, it, as before, will be equipped with two electric motors capable of delivering 400 horsepower. Their total torque is 696 N * m. Thanks to the use of a powerful battery, the car can cover a distance of 470 kilometers on a single charge.
Another innovation is the installation of a special rear-view mirror, on which the broadcast from the camera located in the rear of the passenger compartment is displayed. The car is now in the basic version, shod with 19-inch alloy wheels.
