Jaguar has carried out a thorough redesign of the XE sedan, which features a hybrid setup, a new multimedia package and several additional trim options. Prices on the European market for the British model start at 3.29 million rubles.
Outwardly, it is almost impossible to distinguish the new version of the Jaguar XE from its predecessor. The designers of the British company have finalized the design of the front bumper, introducing deeper air intakes and a repurposed radiator grill with many small metal strips. The shape of the head optics remains the same. As before, it is complemented by LED lights by default. On the stern of the British model, there is a new bumper and lights with a smoky body.
The changes to the interior of the Jaguar XE are broader in scope. The designers of the British company have completely redesigned the front panel, installing a new curved monitor with a diagonal of 11.4 inches with touch control. This screen stands out for crisper and richer graphics. The touchscreen monitor is part of the updated multimedia complex with an improved interface and navigation support, climate control equipment and an audio system. As a standard, this installation works on two SIM-cards. Also, by default, the British sedan comes with a platform for wireless charging of gadgets.
Inside, the Jaguar XE features a new steering wheel and a 12.3-inch screen that replaces the dashboard. An optional active noise cancellation system is offered with the sedan. In addition, a new rear-view mirror with a built-in display is installed in the cabin, to which the picture from the parking camera is transmitted. Along with the changes in the cabin, the manufacturer offered several new interior trim options.
The standard Jaguar is equipped with a 201-horsepower turbodiesel engine, which is now complemented by a starter-generator. Optionally, the British model comes with a 2-liter turbocharged engine, which, depending on the modification, produces 247 or 296 hp. power. With such a unit, the sedan gains the first 100 km / h in 6, 5 and 5.8 seconds, respectively. An 8-speed automatic transmission is included with each engine. The top-end engine also comes with a plug-in four-wheel drive.
