The compact crossover Dacia Duster, which is sold in the Russian car market under the Renault brand, and in the future will combine the features of an urban SUV and a utility SUV. This information was shared with representatives of the world press by the head of the Duster project. The debut of the updated version of the model is expected in 2024/25.

In accordance with the new strategy "Renolution", the next generation of Renault Duster SUV will be built on the basis of the CMF-B platform. At the moment, this "cart" is already involved in the release of budget models Logan and Sandero. By the way, on the same basis, new cars of the AvtoVAZ company, which is part of the French concern, will be produced in the future.
It is known that the new version of the SUV will be equipped with an E-Tech hybrid engine. This unit is already installed on some European models of the company, in particular, on the Clio and Captur cars. The hybrid system is expected to have two different technical options. The first will be built on the basis of an atmospheric engine with a volume of 1.8 liters, and for the second one will have a turbo engine of 1.2 liters. It is not yet finally known how much the future generation of the SUV will change visually, as well as inside. It is also not clear how much the car's value will increase.
