A few days ago, a specialized exhibition dedicated to mobile homes opened in Dusseldorf, Germany. Renault presented its new Hippie Caviar camper at this event. Moreover, the manufacturer positions this model as a hotel on wheels.
So far Renault has limited itself to the presentation of the Hippie Caviar concept. Together with the novelty, a minivan of the same name was shown, which was produced several decades ago. Renault has not announced whether the car will go into series production. But representatives of the brand noted that on the basis of Hippie Caviar similar machines could be created, designed for consumers of the premium segment.
The French novelty, built on Traffic, is equipped with a huge bed, the position of which can be changed depending on preferences. Moreover, it can be partially pushed out. In this case, the owners of the car can use special draperies that give some privacy.
The French novelty is equipped with expensive furniture made of wood. Natural leather was used in the interior trim. If desired, the bed can be converted into comfortable upholstered seating. Hippie Caviar has a small table inside that folds down. Also included with the novelty is a terrace. Renault did not disclose any details about the technical equipment of the presented hotel on wheels. It is more likely that it is equipped exclusively with electric motors. Moreover, Traffic, on which the novelty is based, already has a similar modification.
