The Volkswagen California stands out from the general range of minivans in that it offers owners a number of solutions that allow them to use the car as a full-fledged home on wheels. But Renault may soon implement similar technologies in its products. This is indicated by a series of renders showing the new Hipie Caviar camper.
New Renault Hippie Caviar
This van is based on the electric Trafic. The car is positioned as a 5-star hotel with a rooftop terrace. At the same time, Renault provided little information about its new product. It is known that the car is painted in 2 original shades, uncharacteristic for most modern cars. To climb to the terrace, a ladder is provided on the side of the body (photo: en.media.renault.com). On the roof of the novelty there is a coffee table and reclining backrests, allowing you to sit here with sufficient comfort.

Renault also partially declassified the interior of its camper. One of the published images shows that the French novelty is completed with a dashboard with wicker trim, decorative inserts made of wood and foam on plant components, which upholstered the seats. This camper comes with linen and woolen upholstery. In the salon of the French model, there is a bench that can be transformed into a relatively large bed measuring 195x145 cm. This interior detail is removable. Renault representatives noted that the bench, if necessary, can be taken out or fixed near the back door so that it protrudes slightly into the street.

The French camper is designed to fit inside a bathroom with a shower. In addition, the new product will be supplemented with concierge services, thanks to which car owners can remotely order different things. Their delivery will be handled by a drone. The presented Hippie Caviar is a concept. But this model probably shows what Renault plans to produce VIP-class vans in the future.
