At the beginning of this year, information appeared on the Web that the Chinese auto brand Geely had brought a new electric car to the territory of Belarus - the Geometry A sedan. At that time, the developer announced that he had no plans to organize its sales. And the arrived copies are necessary in order to test them, as well as to understand the possible level of demand for such models.
As it turned out, manufacturers from China were cunning. Already this year, it will be possible to purchase the debut electric car from Geely in Belarus. Moreover, we are not talking about the Geometry A sedan, which one could think of, but about the new electric crossover Geometry C. It is to this segment of cars that the manufacturer refers to the model already sold in China, although in reality it can be called a hatchback.
In terms of its dimensions and visual structure, the new Geometry C is close to the already known Geely GS hatch on the market. So, the dimensions of the body of the novelty are 4432x1833x1560 mm. The center-to-center distance is 2700 mm. If we compare the dimensions of the Chinese "electric train" with other competitors on the market, then it can be compared with the Japanese Nissan Leaf, which measures 4490x1788x1530 mm.
The power capabilities of Geometry C are determined by a synchronous electric motor equipped with permanent magnets. Its performance figure of 204 horsepower is impressive, as is the torque at 310 Nm. Acceleration to hundreds of cross-hatch performs in 7 seconds, and the power reserve on a single battery charge will be in the range from 400 to 550 kilometers.
Potential buyers can already apply for the purchase of a car, although its official cost has not yet been announced by the developer. According to experts, the purchase of a car will cost 30 thousand dollars, which is equivalent to 2.2 million rubles.
